Accessing our online content has never been easier

Big news: We have a fresh, new website!

As Scholastic’s online editor for our STEM magazines, I’m part of the team that has been hard at work improving our websites to meet your teaching needs.

Here are my 5 favorite things you can do with DynaMath’s new website:

1. Share links and integrate with Google Classroom

It’s faster and easier than ever to share DynaMath resources with students, particularly when assigning homework.

How to Use: Click the share icon. You can copy the link to your clipboard or share directly to your Google Classroom.

2. Find resources by math skill or standards code

We’ve grouped our current and archived content by math topic, so you can always find material that works with your teaching schedule. Not only that, we have a super new search bar, which helps you find materials by keyword, standards code, or grade level.

Here's what you'll find if you use the "Explore" bar to browse fraction content.

How to use the "Explore" bar: Click on each math subject for articles, skills sheets, and videos.

How to use the search bar: Find content by standards code, grade level, or keyword. You can filter your results by the subject or media type.

3. Bookmark your favorite content

Save your favorite articles, videos, and skills sheets for future lessons or create a collection of class favorites. You can bookmark content in two ways.

How to use: Bookmark content using the bookmark icon on the lower left (see above). Or, you can use the icon on the toolbar on the left side of each article page. Bookmarked materials are marked in black.

Bookmarked items live in the “My Bookmarks” section (see right).  Want to remove something? Click the icon again and the item will be removed from your collection.

4. View web content on any device

Because technology can vary across classrooms, we designed our articles so they can be viewed on any device. Laptops, tablets, phones—you name it!

5. Help struggling readers with two Lexile levels

Students can read feature articles at two different reading levels.

How to use: Toggle between the two reading levels with the toolbar on the left.

You can share lower level text by copying and pasting the web address. (Each reading level has its own URL.)

Let us know what you think! We'd love feedback, so email us anytime.
